Title: Anti-rotation for A to E Hi Hat
Post by: SHwoKing on December 29, 2011, 06:38:49 PM
I know you can use an Aquarian Spring for other cymbals. Or use/build an L shape stopper ala Yamaha.
But I cannot find any good idea to prevent a Hi hat to rotate. I Was planning to use these :

But I don't know if it will be enough to prevent both cymbals to rotate.

For those that use A to E Hi Hat, what do you use ?

Thanks.

That looks just like what I use. For the bottom hat I use a little velcro or 2 sided tape between the cymbal and felt, and felt and stand base.... keeps the bottom hat in place.

Thank you JMan.

I'll  do that then.

PS : My matching Sabian 13" B8 is on its way so I will assemble it with your trigger in few weeks  :patbat2box:
