New pads and cymbals
« on: August 28, 2009, 12:57:48 PM »
Anyone know when they're coming out?

Hates that no digital-kits have at least two crash at standard :( Sounds a bit boring with the same cymbal crash through the songs, and through all other songs :p

So i especially want to know the options here, is bying the cheapest roland cy-8 (or 5) an option? Just want a splash so maybe it doesnt matter so much wich one i take?

(I haven't bought the DrumIt5 kit yet, saving right now so i can buy it in november so i can finnish the drum-tracks before next year! :))

Hi and welcome :)
It's a good point (there are not many drummers around who prefer fewer drums to more!) but like you say it's not limited to just the 2box. On the 2box though you can assign a splash sound to the bell of your crash, or one of the tom rims...(and with 3 toms that's quite a few more crashes and chinas you could add in).

And the module is prepared for a third crash and a fourth tom. So you can upgrade your kit with that crash and extra tom.

You can even listen to them by pressing the correspondending button on the module!
