Drum Pad Sizes Included With Kit?
« on: October 30, 2010, 01:37:02 PM »
Everything I have read says the pads are 8 to 14 inches.

I know the bass drum pad is 14" What are the dimensions of the other pads that come with the Drumit 5 kit?

Thanks.

There's probably a thread already on here, but anyone have any suggestions for replacement mesh heads quality vs price? I'm in the UK...

The DDT white heads are fine
The Drum Tec Pro heads are good but kinda rough (surface)
Tdrum heads are single ply and good as well

Any idea how good the quality of ddt and Tdrum are? I“ve been told the drumtec“s double ply seems to be as sturdy as Rolands heads.

Can't compare them with the Roland heads, but the 2-ply white DDT mesh head is a fine, durable head. I used it on an acoustic snare. It has a soft snare sound from its own, so its not quiet

I only used the single ply T-drum heads.

Hello,

I thought it was possible to choose the size of the pads ? Because everywhere I read "Select different size pads: The pads come in a range of sizes from 8 to 14 inch. (...)". So, in the end, we can't select the sizes ?
