where to find protection rubber

Hello, I'm looking for a protection rubber (the one that you find inside the pad, not the one for the rime shot), My local dealer say that I'm going to have problem to find it.  Is there a other alternative to the official one.  Thanks in avance for your advise (and sorry for my english)

Maybe a RubberTube in fitted thickness, cut open will do the trick, og doubled layered tape keeping the "glueprotectorpaper" on.
