I think the Roland (PM 30) and Yamaha (MS 500/100) systems aren't that compact since there is always a sub woofer. And you must drive them on low volumes. If that's your goal at home, then it works. The advantage is that those systems are stereo. The Roland PM10 is mono btw
The JBL EON g2 is a little bigger (but not that much) and can handle more power. Also look at the Mackie SRM 450. A bit smaller than the G2 but still suitable.
