So now I have a new hihatstand 2LEG- DW5000 , 2X 2BOX KICKPAD MK 1 WITH LED LIGHT, and a 32 GB SDHC CARD.

Hello They come from Thomann.de the sssnake cables 1x trs stereo to 2x trs mono.

verry nice "full kit" ...  but just one question :  what is the purpose to have 2 kicks sharing the same sound , on the same side of the kit...  ?

The 2x Kickpad setup is still not in the right position, I must find out what will work the best for me, does anybody have suggestions?
for now I always use my left foot on the left kickpedal, and on the right side I can choose, so double bass from the DW5000 on 1x mk1 kickpad ,or with my left from the double DW5000 kick drum and single pedal right playing and then you have also double bass.

But I will making a new setup where I can use 2X single pedals Dw 5000.you will see this soon on photo's.

if i were you, i would use 2 single pedals. and i would put the 2 kick pads in the same iron bar, one on the far left and on on the far right, trying to have them turned to each other. having 2 kick pads and using a double pedal in one and the 2box pedal (which is way inferior) to the other, and having 2 kicks with same sound, is pretty bad. imo always .
if dw 5000 cant be made into 2 single pedals, you are in a very bad situation. if i were you, id sell the other kick. having so many cymbals and 2 floor toms is awesome. you could also have 2 snares instead. one picolo and one normal. it is awesome

One of the benefit of having two bass drums is to have the possibility to litterally face the crowd when playing. You can also have a perfectly symetrical kit this way.

I don't know if you can angle a little both bass drums on the "front" tube. This way you can put the snare just in the middle of this same tube and face the kit.

Sharing the same sound with both bass drums shouldn't be a problem. Besides, lots of people playing with double acoustic bass drums seek the same sound on both.

As it is the way you show it, it is quiet useless. Hope you'll be able to set them to your convenience. I love double bass setup too  ;)

Oh and very nice kit as well. Hope i will be able to get my hand on some Kit Toys too.

Iam gonna use 2x single DW5000 pedals and replacing those MK1 Kickpads I have a very good Idea now...
Soon you will see my new setup.

I have done it! man Iam happy now, I use now 2x single DW5000 Pedals, another 2box module holder,DW5000 2 LEG Hihatstand.

Very nice Roel, how do you like your double bass this way ?

How you play metal stuff with this setup. Personnaly I don't, I only use fast drum bass pattern for fills. this is why I still use one bass drum and a Double pedal. This looks very cool though. You'll be able able to blink your eye for that cute little girl in the front crowd this way  ;D
