no it is not the mistake! the outputs are MONO and you need two mono cables to combine into one stereo which is obviously the input of your soundcard...you can get cinch cables and adapters but i see no reason why you should...you need this...

http://www.thomann.de/at/the_sssnake_ypk2030.htm

and that should be what your coupler already does...are you shure it is not one that combines two signals to one like this: http://www.thomann.de/at/the_sssnake_1852_yadapter.htm?

Sorry, I simply didn't find it. Thomann's searchfunction is not the best, IMO.
I think though, that my suggestion of cable+adapter is easier to find in local stores.

well the elctrician that i bought the cable gave me, 2 mono cable jacks.
one adapter from that has 2 holes in one side and makes it into one 2.5mm jack (all 3 of thgem stereo) and also gave me a 2 things that i put in the 2 stereo holes of the adapter, that make them mono i think. perhaps that was the problem? perhaps i will get the cables you suggest and finally fix this thing... i got tired....
thanx

yes , but you ll need an adapter , the stereo jack is a "big one " ...  a headphone adapter ( big female jack  to small male jack ) will work ...

Im confused. Why not record the performace in MIDI then send that performance back to the 2Box brain then have the audio out come back to computer and record each drum or cymbal as a new audio track ?

Surely you can do mix easier this way ? Plus you can change the triggered sounds on the fly to fit into the song better.

Tony
