OS 1.24
« on: November 25, 2011, 01:46:27 PM »
Hi.

OS 1.24 released. The same as 1.22 but with a more accurate UNIT-TRIG-LEVEL indicator (the resolution is actually 0.1 dB). See http://www.2box-forum.com/index.php/topic,1120.msg10669.html#msg10669 for changes since OS 1.20.

Also a (PC only) utility to extract all 100 kits from a kit bank. Just drag'n'drop the kit bank on the program icon, type x, and it will extract all 100 kits to a new folder with the same name and at the same location as the kit bank file. Type w to create a text file with the sounds in all kits and a summary of all sounds used.

Use the Empty.dkit single kit file (or any of the extracted single kits from the kit bank) to extend the kit amount on your DrumIt Five.

... couldnt wait...;)  so i m currently trying OS 1.24.....

Thanx for all those improvements ...  the metronome is now ok  and the accurate dB display of gains is really cool to see what you do....

I still have problems with the multitap delay .... there is no way to get a simple mono delay playing triplets in sync ...   Why cant we have the choice of the time division for the center tap ?

IMO most of people are waiting for triplet or quarter mono echo   , and only a few like those "tacky" stereo mulitap effects ....

Hi.
You mean like a delay synced to the metronome but the time is 1/3 or 1/4 of a beat length?
Then when the left and right tap ain't used and with some feedback you get triplets or quarters delay, right?
As I'm up to a release a day, who knows :-)

yes ... 1/3 or 1/4 would be great ... and most of all  ( dont know the term in english...:))

........the top of the tops would be to have a filter before the feedback ... for "dub style  tape echo like " effects ....

... my birthday is in 5 days ... who knows ;)

PS today it s been one year since i get my Drumit5 module .... and i love it more than ever....

Deve or anyone: I used the new kit lister/extractor tool. I notice that the kit numbering is not the same as in my module. I have swapped positions of several kits, so that is why. But is there a way to get the kit list info the same on the PC as in my module? I noticed this before when I used the 2Box Drumit 5 Editor. I am guessing that I need to take my current DrumIt.dkit file and rename it to DrumItInit.dkit and replace that init file...... Is that correct? Or is there another way?

Oh, and thanks again for the continued improvement ..... the gain meter is great now!

Hi.
Odd version numbers are reserved for test purposes.
There's a new KitBank.exe which lists the kits as in the program table.

Wow! I don't come here for a couple of weeks and I miss out :)

Going to install this right now. The headphone output update is worth more than gold to me!

Well done 2Box, and bonus props to the developer. I love a software developer who pulls up his sleeves, listens to his users and does a great job. From one programmer to another, nice one!
I love e-drums!
